Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 pounds apples - peeled, cored, and chopped
- 3 tablespoons water
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 pinch salt
Directions:
- 1 Combine apples, water, maple syrup, cinnamon stick, and nutmeg in a multi-functional pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot(R)). Close and lock the lid. Select high pressure according to manufacturer's instructions; set timer for 8 minutes. Allow 10 to 15 minutes for pressure to build.
- 2 Release pressure using the natural-release method according to manufacturer's instructions, 10 to 40 minutes. Unlock and remove lid. Remove cinnamon stick and season with salt. Blend with an immersion blender to the desired consistency.
